Milton Township is a zoned community; with being zoned we have a zoning administrator that serves as the coordinator of many land use and community oriented issues in the Township. Such as Planning Commission Application reviews, Zoning Appeal process, Land Division Reviews/approvals, Land Use Permits and the constant updating of the Zoning Ordinance and Master Plan. A Zoning Permit must be obtained from the Zoning Administrator prior to the issuance of a Building Permit. All applications for zoning permits must be accompanied by plans and specifications including a plot plan, in triplicate, drawn to scale, showing the following:
